Beadle & Grimm’s Pathfinder Character Chronicles Will Go Live With Character Dice And Early Bird Discount

A few months ago, we covered the new madness being cooked up by the dudes at Beadle & Grimm’s Pandemonium Warehouse: The Pathfinder Complete Character Chronicles, the company’s very first Kickstarter and their first collaboration with Paizo and Pathfinder 2e. It’s now the eve of launch, and new details have come to light regarding the specifics of crowdfunding effort, which launches tomorrow at 9 AM PST.

Character Chronicle Kickstarter Exclusive Editions

In addition to the contents of the Chronicles that we already knew about, Kickstarter exclusive versions of the books have been announced depicting art from the game of Pathfinder produced special for Beadle & Grimms. Two more mystery classes have been added as stretch goals, with one unlocking at $40,000 and the other at $50,000.

Wizard purple dice set

Also new to the Kickstarter are dice tins containing themed sets of dice that correspond to each class. In addition to the standard array, each class gets an extra copy of a die they’ll use more than others (a d4 for a Wizard’s magic missile, a d6 for Rogue sneak attacks, a d8 for Fighters and their Greataxes) as well as an extra d20 to keep track of primary and secondary attacks. They can be added on for $20 each or included in one of the bundles. Also of note is the Beadle & Grimm’s Bag of Book Holding, a vegan leather bag that magically holds one book at a time, which can be added on for $60.

No matter which single book you put inside, it always looks like it’s carrying one book.

As a special bonus to celebrate the company’s Kickstarter debut, Beadle & Grimm’s is having an Early Bird Special: the first 100 backers of the Complete Character Chronicles can back at the “Complete Collector’s Edition” level (which contains all the books, all the dice, a coupon for a Heroforge Premium Plastic Mini, and the Bag of Book Holding) for $250 instead of the regular $400.

You can find out more at the company’s website or on the Kickstarter preview page. The chaos starts tomorrow, October 27th, at 9 AM PST. And you’ll want to jump in early if you want the Early Bird Special, limited editions tend to disappear quickly at the Pandemonium Warehouse.
