The party is separated. Khoz, Rain, and Blossom have been taken by the Blackiron’s. One of the criminal families that is deeply connected to Khoz. Ariadne and Beskey are once more aboard the Scorned and Scant, sailing to Riverheart in pursuit with Captain Odyra, the destruction in Ne’reen left behind. Rain tries to gain more freedom aboard the ship, and Ariadne and Beskey have a heart-to-heart with our favorite vampire captain.
