Fantasy Flight Games have unveiled the next set in the Star Wars: Unlimited card game: Jump to Lightspeed. Launching in March 2025. The Jump to Lightspeed will launch with two Spotlight decks, each with 50 unique cards, as well as five Special-rarity cards that are unique to that product with one of the Special-rarity cards being a leader card.
With this new collection’s heavy focus on space, this set introduces a brand-new keyword to the fray: Piloting. Players will be able to explore several Star Wars eras and locales, focusing on the galaxy’s space battles. As players go head-to-head, they’re met with new gameplay experiences like a “hyperspace” mechanic and “showcase” variant.
“The team at Fantasy Flight Games is thrilled to introduce our fourth Star Wars: Unlimited card game set to the world,” said Danny Schaefer, lead game designer at Fantasy Flight Games. “In Jump to Lightspeed, we’ve explored a uniquely thrilling context with beautiful artwork as classic characters like Boba Fett and Han Solo battle it out in space.”
This collection brings new characters and storylines to life with characters like Han Solo and Boba Fett, each with their own unique decks. Dish out extra damage to enemy forces with Boba Fett’s deck or shoot from the hip with Han Solo’s deck to rise to the top in these space battles, utilizing new mechanics to explore unseen corners of the galaxy.
“The Jump to Lightspeed card game is an exciting chapter in the continued development of Star Wars: Unlimited,” said Schaefer. “With this fourth set, we’re kicking off our second year with an exhilarating gameplay experience that allows players to travel through the galaxy’s most iconic eras with the characters and content they know and love.”
