Many Sided Media, the media and storytelling company behind My First Dungeon and Talk of the Table, announced today the launch of Bitcherton, an improvised comedy podcast inspired by the stories of Jane Austen that tells the tale of a wealthy family’s secrets, scandals… and shenanigans. The show, a comedic take on Bridgerton, is set to launch on Kickstarter June 18.

The first season of Bitcherton will consist of 10 episodes of improvised audio fiction. Every episode will
feature original music by BE/HOLD, award-winning sound design by Brian Flaherty, and a hilarious guest
from shows and stages you know and love.

Lady Patience Bitcherton has unwed daughters, nosy neighbors, awful country cousins, and now, a body to
hide. Will the Bitcherton’s secrets leak onto the pages of Lady Bigg-Withers gossip rag? Or will her pen skewer their good name forever? Oh bits! What a predicament!

stay for the horny vicar!”

The Regency-based Good Society served as an inspiration for Bitcherton after My First Dungeon explored it in a recent season. “Jane Austen meets Oscar Wilde in this hilarious regency podcast.” said co-author Hayley Gordon, “If you like drama, scandal, and the exploits of least favourite cousins, I highly recommend you check it out.”
