By now you’ve hopefully seen how excited were are for Thor: Ragnarok. It looks like it will fully embrace the supernatural weirdness of Thor’s setting, along with a dose of Planet Hulk, to make for an epic visual feast. Ragnarok also looks like one hell of a fun movie.
This latest trailer mostly features previously seen footage, but one new character makes a debut appearance; one Dr. Strange. He spouts a few words about destiny’s plan for Thor and gets a badass response from Thor in return. What role will he play in the overall outcome of the movie? I guess we’ll see when the movie hits theaters.
Watch the (somewhat) new trailer below and tell us what you think of Strange’s inclusion in the comments.

The rest of the trailer features stuff I’m much more excited about, even if I’ve seen it all before; Hela being a complete badass, Thor being one in return, a cool new companion and a cool old one, and plenty of Hulk in amazing fights. You also get some of the familiar sci-fi, Guardians-like feel of the planet Sakaar where Thor must fight for freedom in time to stop Hela from beginning Ragnarok, the end of Asgard.
This movie’s going to be one hell of a good time, folks. Thor and Hulk are amazing, Cate Blanchett looks incredible as the villain, iconic Norse creatures pop up, and the music is awesome. There’s also plenty of hype for Taika Waititi Marvel directing debut. I haven’t seen anything yet to make me anything less than fully hyped for this movie.
Thor: Ragnarok releases on November 3. Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Mark Ruffalo, Idris Elba, and Anthony Hopkins return for their previous MCU roles, with newcomers Blanchett, Tessa Thompson, and Jeff Goldblum joining them. Strap in for one hell of a thrill ride.
