New World Book ‘A Faeseeker’s Guide To Avallen’ Will Expand Celtic Fantasy Setting Of ‘Legends of Avallen’

RPG developer Adder Stone Games announced it will launch a Kickstarter for A Faeseeker’s Guide to Avallen, a sourcebook inspired by Celtic history and mythology. Faeseeker’s will be the third Kickstarter for Legends of Avallen, a TTRPG of folkloric Celtic fantasy about humble folk ascending to legend produced in the heart of Wales—the cradle of faerie myths! Adder Stone Games recently received a 2024 ENNIE Award nomination for its artwork in the Against the Faerie Queene campaign book and the Faeseeker’s Kickstarter will reunite that creative team for this exciting new project.

A Faeseeker’s Guide to Avallen cover

Avallen is a Celtic Iron Age world inspired by the myths of the British Isles during the strife of Roman conquest. A Faeseeker’s Guide to Avallen promises to greatly expand on the history, culture, and cosmology of the isles of Avallen with 200+ pages of compelling new lore and game mechanics inspired by authentic Celtic history and folklore. This includes:

  • Unique Clan Origin and Fae Pact abilities
  • In-depth lore describing the Celtic Clanlands and the Otherworldly Faerie Courts
  • A tarot deck of Faerie Tricks designed to be system agnostic
  • 11 Premium Celtic Hero & Fae Miniatures (in resin and with STLs)
A Faeseeker’s Guide to Avallen bundle
  • Hundreds of adventure hooks, magic items, and folkloric monsters
  • Compatibility with both the Legends of Avallen system and 5E

Early Bird Kickstarter backers will have the opportunity to receive a resin miniature of the warrior seen on the stunning cover illustration as well as bundle deals with other books in the Legends of Avallen collection. Hunters confront the Great Boar

The Legends of Avallen roleplaying game takes you to a mystical island occupied by faithless invaders. For now, peace has been called, but it balances on a sword’s edge as all seek to tame the Otherworld—a parallel realm home to fae, demons, dragons, and gods. Legends of Avallen uses the Songs of Iron & Stone system and includes:

  • An original ruleset that needs just a deck of regular playing cards.
  • Engaging mechanics that reward creativity and teamwork.
  • Character advancement from humble tribesfolk to legendary heroes.
  • Extensive guides, tools, and bestiary for gamemasters.
  • Free adventures and campaign book support!

A Faeseeker’s Guide to Avallen, Songs of Iron & Stone, Against the Faerie Queene, and Legends of Avallen are written and designed by Deren Ozturk, Kurt Samson, and Jasmine Bernhardt, published by Adder Stone Games, and distributed by Modiphius Entertainment.
