New Scarlet Witch #1 Variants Show Off Wanda Maximoff’s Mystical Might

This June, fall through the Last Door into the thrilling adventures of Wanda Maximoff once again with the return of Scarlet Witch’s solo series.

Writer Steve Orlando is back for another chaos-filled era of Scarlet Witch, this time alongside X-Men Red artist Jacopo Camagni. Like all of Marvel’s major launches, fans can pick from a variety of variant covers for Scarlet Witch #1, including a foil variant cover that utilizes classic poster art by legendary artist P. Craig Russell and a new piece from best-selling cover artist Jenny Frison.

Following the current 60th anniversary limited series Scarlet Witch & Quicksilver, Wanda returns to her new base of operations upstate and resumes her duties as hero to the helpless! When innocents in desperate need have no place left to turn, they’re magically transported and find themselves under the protection of one of the most powerful beings in the Marvel Universe. But Scarlet Witch knows better than anyone that magic always has a price!

Just like Orlando’s first volume, expect deadly new threats as Wanda’s newfound peace draws the wrath of a primal force unlike anything she’s ever faced before. It’s a clash of titans as the Scarlet Witch performs her greatest feats yet to defend all she holds dear! What happens when an unstoppable force meets the end of all things? When pure chaos meets pure destruction? Wanda’s about to find out—if she survives long enough.

Check out both new covers now and preorder them at your local comic shop today. For more information, visit Marvel.com.
