The Walking Dead’s 8th Season Gets a Trailer

The AMC juggernaut returns this fall, and by the look of this trailer it will feature more of what fans either love or hate. Mostly love, if The Walking Dead’s ratings are any indication. The only cable drama rivaling this show in that regard is Game of Thrones.

Watch the trailer here and tell us what you think in the comments? Are you still riding strong on The Walking Dead train? If not, did this trailer show you anything to pique your interest or bring you back into the series? Did this turn anyone away? All are welcome, all are welcome.

All the familiar characters appear, as do the locations they’ve inhabited in recent seasons. The conflict between Negan and Rick/the Kingdom/the Hilltop takes center stage, as you’d expect. For those who have read the comics, the ending scene will be very familiar. I can only imagine the theories those unfamiliar will toss around. Surely some of you will get it right. One thing’s for sure; Negan will be dealt with this season, one way or another.

In between all this we see the usual guns, zombies, and forlorn stares which define The Walking Dead. Oh, and Negan’s crappy one-liners. Like I said before, you either love it or hate it.

The Walking Dead returns for its 8th season on October 22.
